Une bonne maquette, mais a peine utilisable :(

******* ENGLISH VERSION BELOW (a good mockup, but.... no more!) - la fonction backup qui ne marche pas en version 2.0 (pas testee sur la derniere) ******* ENGLISH VERSION ******** The big principles of the software in nice, fully iPhone style (navigation…) and the idea of the main 3 views is brilliant But, there are so many things wrong: - if you have simply an event for more than 4 weeks, then you have to go day by day…. It’s so slow in more sometimes - more than 3 meeting a day??? Just forgot!!! The software become so slow (even with iPhone 3G 16gb, OS 2.2.1) - with the new release (v2.1, Jan 09), there is an upgrade from 8 to 12 so-called projects …. Great!!! BUT now only one can be synchronized with GCal … it s just a scrap Plus some bugs: - some events just refuse to be deleted - this so slooooow - the backup function is just not working in version 2.0 (claiming that there is no email application?!)

One more Time !

One more Time, the sync with Google calendar is not efficient !!! Perhaps it s an update by google but Why other pims have not this problem or they have more quick answer !! This time, i change for pocket informant (nô sync problems and good price this day) i m tired of your slowly updates

Really poor support

Update: This version has week view and month view but is much slower than previous version when launching and when switching from one type of view to another. Support from LCL is really poor, I had reported a sync issue but never get an answer from the support. Finally I leave up and switch to Pocket Informant which has a much much better support. Update: the sync works again in version 2.3. Update: since the beginning of March 2009, the sync feature in version 2.2 simply stops working and crashes the app. systematically. Youd better pay a visit to their forum to read all the posts there about this issue, before deciding if you want to buy or not. I would give a 4 stars for tasks management but as a calendar tool, it is still not yet up to the expectation : no month view, beta week view which is very useful, awfully slow day view if you have more than 100/150 events... The Google sync is much improved, with possibility to map to multiple calendars in Google, but still lags behind other apps in term of performance.

Waiting for compatibility for OS3

Hello! It became too long to use! This is not yet avalaible for OS 3! It lake a red indicator to show when the app is close there is appointment for the day! Im waiting for!!! It will be perfect as soon as it will be added! Thanks Shoohen

Finally updated for OS 3.0

Ok, now that Apple finally got around to approve the new version, its great again^^

bad

I used the "Lite" Version and was impressed by flexibility and sync options. Then unfortunately I bought that tool. But since recent updates it is definitiely to slow, it takes many, many very long, long, long....minutes to sync with google cal. But in many cases the sync does even start and when it starts it doesn´t stop!!!!!!!!!!! I am now using "Touch-Todo" - this is good, quick, flexible and less expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugly and totally useless

This app is just expensive, nothing else. The interface is really ugly and usability is not worth even one star. Do not buy.

Fantastic application and well worth the money

Ive used SmartTime for over a month now and I cant imagine living without it. The interface is smooth and intuitive and pleasing to look at. It has a novel way of arranging your tasks and calendar events and will smartly push missed tasks ahead while warning you that youve missed a task (something I do all the time!) Yes, I used the free version for a long time before finding out that it had become a paid application (although there still exists a free Lite version with fewer features.) I was disappointed that it was a pay application but then I realized that it was my most used application and it had become invaluable in my day-to-day life. At that point I didnt hesitate to pay the cost of the new SmartTime. Its well worth the low price and Ill gladly support all the hard work the developers have put into the application. Dont rate the application with 1 star if you disagree with the cost of the program. This is a great application and all the time and hard work put into the development shouldnt be punished just because you think you should get everything for free.

**UPDATE** Improving!

Originally I was dismayed about lack of integration with iCal. Turns out this is a restriction imposed by Apple (one they will hopefully remove soon!!) Meanwhile the smarttime team has continued improving the app, adding google sync support (the best option available for now), and listening to & supporting their customers. This app has the potential to become the most valuable one on my iPhone. Its the only app available that begins to provide an integrated view of calendar events + tasks (a little like datebk6 on the palm ... sort of). Not perfect yet, but getting better with each release. Recommended.

AWESOME!!

Best organizational app out there. It helps keep my life straight. Highly recomended. Cant wait for the next update with a weekly and monthly view.

Great

Great app Love the new version whith calendars mapping with google calendars. Nice look and powerfull app.

Innovative and Cutting Edge

This app is very user friendly. I like the concept of tasks and appointments fitting into one easy to read screen. My favorite functionality is that the tasks are automatically positioned in between scheduled appointments based on duration and deadlines. This saves me a lot of time organizing. The positioning usually makes good sense too, I rarely have to adjust it myself. However the #1 problem is that is does not sync with ical, which is what my assistant and I use to book my appointments. I checked the forum and there is mention of third party software that could do the connection to ical, but it seems to extensive and complicated...worried that I might lose my information in the process.

very promising

but because of the recent release buggy sync i will give it one star. an alpha should not be released. beware - it will screw up your data!!!

Waste

I wish I hadnt spent ten bucks on this program. Looking for a to do software? Keep looking

Great App for ToDOs

I reviewed this previously but like how the new updates have sped up the application. I still use this daily and after having tried about 20 other ToDo apps, this is still by far the best - interface, ease of use, easy to move priorities. The only concerns is that it still takes a long time to "turn on" and update when you make a change, and it still crashes periodically. I hope that the fix to this is in the works.

Good idea but needs better sync.

I like many of the ideas in this app. Like having tasks get bumped automatically. BUT I do not want to have to sync via a third party app and server. If you do not use MS office, Google Docs or Google cal. Look else where. Being able to sync with iCal directly via wi-fi or sync cable would put this app over the top. Lets keep private stuff private. Thanx

Overated

Dont get lured by the flashy graphics. Crashes often and is not intuitive.

Not quite the calendar app its claiming to be...

I had high hopes for this app: thought it was a calendar-replacement for the iPTs short-comings. I paid my money (after using the free version for a bit) and took my chances. I kinda wish I could get my money back. Oh well, its like buying a lottery ticket. Its function is to mostly organise todos into a calendar-like representation, but thats about it. The number of calendar views is limited to: ONE (even Apple calendar has more); and the History function is the only real way to see what youve done (in a list-like format only). It has some interesting niceties that the iPT calendar app does not: cover-flow between days on the calendar display (better than some other similar apps); an interesting way of shuffling todos around (although the fuzzy logic governing it is... well, a bit fuzzy); and through a relatively complicated setup is one of the few apps that can actually, through GoogleCal, sync with iCal. All that being said however, there is at least one better calendar app out there; and it is a calendar app - not a task manager that has a calendar screen.

Great app

Great app, lots of features!

Very annoying

Keep screwing my calendar... syncing back and forth for more than an hour. Gave up and bought CalenGoo. CalenGoo is WAY better than this. Total waste of my money :( Why cant we have apps like this refunded???
